Very tasty and good service, don't wait long

I've got pumpkin soup, turkey breast with cranberry and melted cheese on it and and at the end apple pie. All of them were perfect. Highly recommended 👌

There are few tourists in the off-season, and the salmon and steak are very good

By far the best restaurant on the Königssee. Nice restaurant, very nice and fast service. Dogs are also very welcome. And the food is just amazing! Very, very tasty. Always like to come back here.

We were in the Seehaus today, it was a bit disappointing, whipped cream for the cake. The cake that was served was nothing special. However, the service was very friendly. As a note, Bavarian music should be played a little more discreetly.

Service was very good and quick The food was very tasty (frying pan and pumpkin soup) there was nothing to complain about. Portion was just right too, not too much and not too little.

Spontaneously ate lunch there, bacon dumplings with chanterelle cream sauce was lukewarm and tasted like fixed products. The cream sauce was a packet of fix and tasted really bad. The bacon dumpling without bacon went like this. Roast pork was okay. The waiter had his mouth and nose protection under his nose, something like that is currently not possible. Tables were not cleaned when guests left the restaurant. We won't go there anymore. Prices far too expensive for the quality.

Once and not again. Summary: service mixed, food served quickly and carelessly prepared, price-performance ratio does not match. Waitress: It took them a long time to notice that new guests had come in. And both (during Covid-19 times) only covered their mouths with the mouth and nose mask - completely pointless. Otherwise fast on the road. Essen: I had ordered Käsespätzle, a classic that you can't really go wrong with. Clear case of think! Knöpfle and no spaetzle are served. The green garnish was extremely sparse and culminated in a single stalk of chives. What can be seen here on some user photos is worlds away. The sauce tastes slightly like cheese and otherwise looked like a neutral ready-made sauce. Why were the Knöpfle drowned in sauce and not baked with cheese? At least the food was hot. And it was very, very quick at the table. For me this is a clear indication of "cheap" (= quick) preparation. Price / performance: Location does not justify everything and certainly not such high prices with such poor performance. Others also have to do decent work for their money, why not at the Seehaus? Premises: "Rustic ambience" can also mean that everything is getting on in years and needs to be renewed. Conclusion: I would have invested my money and my time better elsewhere.

French fries are great, fish are good. Liver dumpling soup tastes like Autobahn - straight there. All in all quite good.

Just came back to eat here for the 2nd time. The service is super quick, friendly and tried very hard. Food came quickly and tasted great. Prices are a bit high but it was fine for us. The wheat is great!

Service was nice, food came very quickly, but there wasn't much going on either. The wheat tastes good, the light on tap didn't suit our taste. The food wasn't particularly presented, but it tasted good. However, the portions were a bit small and therefore relatively expensive. Card payment is unfortunately not possible here.

Great place for all you can eat buffet.

Food was so-so, nothing special. But, the waiter was not bearable. First, he made a lot of racist jokes about the different nationalities who are paying his salary. Secondly, as a non-native German speaker teaching other foreign people German when they speak better German than yourself takes a lot courage... especially when they are your guests! And if your touch your guests, take off their hats without asking is just too much ...

Best fish ever had

Simply not worth going to unless it's a last resort. Sat down only to be scoffed at when we were both looking at the dessert menu. Took 10+ minutes for the gent to take our order (ice cream, soft drink and an ice chocolate). The soft drink took 5 minutes to come out, 10 minutes more for the ice cream and the 'ice chocolate'. Was served an ice coffee by the server, when I question him saying ice coffee, he said he only brings the food and will get someone. Waited 5 minutes not touching the ice coffee, no one came so decided to have it. The coffee was burnt and watery as if the grinded beans had not been changed for the past 2 coffees prior. Spending 5 minutes to walk to the McDonald's to order the same things would have been faster, cheaper & more enjoyable.

Slow service, given wrong food and waiter said he will check the order and get back with us (he never did). When paying the bill the waiter just told us the total price without a physical bill/receipt. But hey the ice cream and location was nice

Bad waiter, bad attitude,bad food, everything bad!

Food is ok, but waiter is kind of racist. That gives us really bad feeling eating in that restaurant.

No good

Service was pretty confused. Did not get along well with the food. A change desire of dumplings on chips has led to absolute chaos. The food arrived suspiciously fast and was very poor I would like to tap it once warmed up. At best, canteen level. The beer was watery and scarf. By far the worst restaurant in Bavaria. With change, the service has also miscalculated to our disadvantage. Never again!

Awesome food with awesome view.

First. The food is delicious! Now why it lost so many stars. 1. The service is somewhat slow. Two waiters for such a big restaurant on a Saturday night isn't enough. We waited for 40 minutes to get our trout and zander! Overall, spent there over an hour. 2. Didn't print the bill - showed it electronically. 3. They don't accept cards. Only cash. Didn't warn about it in advance. 4. No check.

Fresh squid, very small potato is delicious

Food was well below average and then we received a bill for 2 glasses of water that we assumed as in most places would be free. Nearly 6 euro. The red wine? We couldn't drink it. Not sure what it was but definitely nothing like we had tasted before. Awful smell. Love to give the benefit of the doubt here but after reading some of the other reviews I would advise elsewhere.

Good restaurant

Nice restaurant, no tourist trap. Food tasted really good. A good choice actually. Music is awful 😎 but well it's more about the food.

The good was very tasty and we'll presented. The waiter was friendly and fast. Restaurant was clean and well kept. The music wasn't to my taste but that's what you get in tourist locations.

The almond slice trout is crispy and delicious, the meat is tender, and the portion is enough. It ’s raining and the delicious hot soup makes the whole person warm. It is highly recommended for King Lake's high-quality restaurant!

Not bad

The dishes are very delicious, the boss will say that some Chinese drinks are very interesting, and there is also a drink that is like the local cola mixed orange Fanta. If you don’t know what the main dishes are, please recommend it to the boss. Wifi, password, please contact the clerk

A nice reasonably priced restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. The portions are generous. There are well-kept Bavarian food and more. The service was quick and polite of equip. There is free internet via WiFi. The view through the window is gigantic. Anytime again.

Food is incredibly delicious, almost every dishes we ordered was great. The fish (trouts) are very fresh and we loved it very much. Food are served pretty quick. The spaetzle was a little bit too oily and salty, but overall it was a great dish. The host was very friendly and they will help you if you ask for directions or the last bus leaving the town.

Food: average Service: unpleasant , the clerk eagered to get his tips without confirming the check...it was really awful!

The restaurant was absolutely amazing we tried many other places to eat, but this one was really the best! The staff was very kind and sweet! The food was tasty and for sure brings the spirit of the city. We will come back soon!
